Building on the success of various outdoor dining options last year in the Town, I’m pleased to note that additional outdoor dining areas will be an option again this year for Greenburgh restaurants and patrons. For restaurants in the Town, expanded outdoor seating (sidewalk, parking lot, yard or other outdoor spaces) on a temporary basis is permissible through an expedited Building Permit process. On East Hartsdale Avenue, The Town has coordinated with restaurants and the Hartsdale Public Parking District and starting next week, outdoor temporary seating enclosures will be set up. Greenburgh is fortunate to have a series of restaurant rows with hard working owners, chefs and servers. A big thanks to our residents for supporting these businesses. PAUL FEINER
