· There is a serious upswing in Covid-19 cases. There were six deaths this week in Westchester. We had the same number for the entire month of August. Hospitalizations are around fifty. We were at about 30 two weeks ago. We are over 1,000 active cases now. We were last at this number on June 6th.
· We will soon have an order issued by County Health Commissioner, Dr. Sherlita Amler mandating that masks be worn in all schools throughout Westchester.
