Town Clerk Judith Beville announces polling place locadtions (and early voting info) for June 23rd primary for President, District Attorney, Congress and State Assembly
Dear All Town of Greenburgh Residents:
We have a very important Primary Election and, I’m sure that we all know and realize the critical importance of voting in this upcoming Primary.
The number of voting sites has been significantly reduced from eighty-one (81) to just five (5) polling places in the Town of Greenburgh. There will only be sixty-one (61) countywide, down from several hundred. This phenomenon is not unique to Westchester or the State of New York. The number of polling places in states around the country has been dramatically reduced at this time of upcoming Primary Elections. The reduction is due to limited numbers of available Elections Inspectors which is understandable in this climate of a pandemic. The sites were selected by the Westchester County Board of Elections. The Board of Elections will send a card, in the mail, to each resident indicating the appropriate polling place as we may not simply vote at either of the selected sites. We must cast our vote according to the specified site that we are assigned to, based on our address.
Residents may also send in their Ballots through the mail. Please try to get Ballots in the mail by June 10th, if possible, and not wait until the official mail-in deadline of June 16th. There is no need to worry or panic because there are options: you can always go to one of the physical polling sites to cast your vote.
A VERY IMPORTANT PRIMARY!

The Westchester County Board of Elections will ensure that voting sites are properly marked or monitored for social distancing. They will also be provided with cleaning materials and required to wipe down the voting areas throughout the day. Residents are reminded to wear proper PPE, both masks and gloves, as they come to vote, as well. Whenever we gather, at this time of the pandemic, we must do so in the spirit of protecting self and others.
