FREE CLASSES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS BY PHONE OR ZOOM....HELP FOR SENIORS WITH GROCERIES AND FOOD DELIVERY

Greenburgh Nutrition Program: 

  One emergency personnel (Nutrition Program Director) working everyday either from the office or home.  13 regular part time employees classified as emergency personnel working Monday – Friday in the mornings.

  • The Nutrition Program continues a steady daily delivery of Homebound Meals
  • Daily count is now 250-260 Monday to Friday…this # includes TDYCC and Dobbs Ferry Seniors
  • We continue daily communication with Supervisor Feiner to reach all the seniors in need
  • Calls to seniors requesting grocery shopping are answered within 24 hours
  • Seniors requiring grocery shopping are being connected with a volunteer
  • Food bank delivered fresh produce this week the produce will be used by the food vendor to prepare meals for all Greenburgh homebound for the week of April 27-May 1st 2020 
  • The Nutrition Staff continues to work tirelessly to ensure that all of the above operates smoothly
