[ARCHIVED] Covid Angel leader is now an an author--"Nana Always Says Yes"

A Children's book that every grandma will think is about them

Alise Curran was one of the leaders of the nationally acclaimed  Greenburgh COVID Angels program -helping 4,000+ Greenburgh seniors get Covid vaccines when they were in short supply last year.  She used her technology skills to organize volunteers who succeeded in expediting the availability of vaccines to so many seniors.

Alise Curran further used her technology skills this year to match people who needed formula for their babies with residents who were willing to donate baby formula/share where they saw formula locally with their neighbors. Alise created a Facebook group, Westchester Formula Finders, to assist with the ongoing formula crisis and connect families with much needed help to locate formula for their babies. We continue to have a formula bin at the Greenburgh Town Hall for people to utilize. During business hours, people can drop off unneeded formula and we post photos of the donations on the “Westchester Formula Finders” Facebook group page and local families can pick up the formula their babies need.

Now, Alise Curran has written a sweet children's book: “Nana Will Say Yes". This sweet rhyming book shows the special bond between a grandkid and their Nana. Read the book and learn why the answer is always ‘yes’.
