A few weeks ago I posted a request from a woman on a limited income who needed a new refrigerator. An anonymous donor responded and the refrigerator was delivered to her Friday. Her note of thanks is below.
Greenburgh residents have always helped neighbors in distress. In the past year neighbors have responded to requests by donating a chair lift for a disabled woman; an air conditioner for a woman whose husband was dying and who needed the air conditioner to keep him comfortable. A motor scooter for a disabled man whose wife died of Covid. And more.
