Under the Town Code, the CAC advises the Town Board, other boards of the Town and Town officials on environmental matters as they relate to the Town and its residents. This encompasses proposed Town Code legislation and proposed land use projects in the Town.
CAC meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, at 6:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public, and residents are given an opportunity to speak.
The CAC issues Reports on proposed major land use projects and on various environmental issues.
The Dept. of Community Development & Conservation posts Reports on land use Applications on the “Active Applications-Town Board” or “Active Applications-Planning Board” portions of its webpage under the appropriate Application heading.
