Financial Assistance
Town of Greenburgh residents are not denied participation in any Department of Community Resources program because of a personal financial situation. Please download and complete the financial form here. Financial assistance is available with proof and determination of need.
Senior Citizen Highlights
Join Us For Lunch
Register for lunch by 12 noon prior to the day you are joining us and that’s it! Lunch is $3/6 for those under 60 years of age. Lunch is served “VIP Restaurant Style” Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. Our staff brings meals to you, no waiting on lines!
Senior Highlights Activity Schedule & Newsletter
Published every two months, the “Senior Highlights” includes activities and services offered by The Greenburgh Office of the Aging and The Theodore D. Young Community Center. To receive this Newsletter by mail please call 914-693-8985, ext. 116. Please note that this is mailed to residents of the unincorporated area of Greenburgh.

Senior Citizen Bulletin Board
Located next to the first floor elevator includes latest programs, activities, and information for seniors.
Public Transportation to the Center
There is a Westchester County Bee-Line Bus Stop a half block from the Theodore D. Young Community Center on the corner of Tarrytown Road and Manhattan Avenue (across the street from the Kmart Shopping Plaza). For schedules and more information, contact the Bee-Line Information Center at 914-813-7777.
Parking at Center
Our Department has an 80 car parking lot, plus parking is also available across the street at the Union Baptist Church. Parking at this location is available on weekday afternoons, (except during Church functions where signs will be posted). Special thanks to Reverend Williams and the members of Union Baptist Church for providing our patrons with this convenience.
Fairview Cafe
Every Friday at 11:30 a.m. Enjoy live entertainment with our friendly group. If you would also like to join us for lunch call 914-989-3631 for reservations. Suggested contribution for lunch is $3, $6 for those under 60 years of age.
