About Us
Greetings Everyone!
The Department of Community Resources at the Theodore D. Young Community Center (TDYCC) seeks to improve the quality of life for Greenburgh residents by providing a variety of educational, cultural, recreational, and social programs and activities.
As committed and dedicated staff of the department, we all are working toward the same goal and the stated mission of the department is the foundation that allows us to remain the premier outreach and resource facility within the state of New York.
The concept and vision of the department began over 50 years ago and in no way are we in a position to rest on our laurels. In these challenging times, we are needed now more than ever. Our younger generation depend on us for guidance, opportunities, and mentoring. Our older generation depend on us for compassion, companionship, and comfort. Let us strive to meet the needs and wants of our community and continue to serve as the beacon of hope in this forever changing and fast paced society.
I encourage you to peruse this portal and see what goes on within our department...we are more than just bricks and mortar, we are the department that ensures a life changing experience Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you make a difference along with us.
Sincerely,
Terrance V. Jackson
