Job Description / Examples of Tasks:
Performs a variety of clerical duties and provides office support of average difficulty. Post simple and routine data to various departmental records adn may compile or assist in compiling reports based on tabulations of posted data. Assist in answering phone(s) and directing to the appropriate personnel, furnishes routine information to inquiries over the telephon or by mail.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Attributes:
Good knowledge of office terminology, procedures, equipment and business English; knowledge of proper grammatical usage, punctuation and spelling. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access; Adobe; Windows 7 and 10. Able to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheets for correspondence, reports, records, maintenance of files. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position; ability to operate a variety of office machines; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; ability to deal effectively with the public; ability to get along well with others; discretion; tact; courtesy, accuracy; good judgement; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
