2 SPANO'S HELP GREENBURGH GET DOG PARK
Release Date: September 14, 2005

Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano and State Senator Nick Spano attended a dog parkrally at GreenburghTown Hallon Wednesday September 14th and announced their support for a dog parkin Greenburgh.  State Senator Spano announced that he has secured $43,000 in funding from the state for a dog park. And, County Executive Andrew Spano indicated that the county would make available to the town a few acres of land at RidgeParkin Hartsdale for the dog park. The town would be responsible for the maintenance of the park. Hundreds of dog owners have pushed for a dog parkin the town for many years – a place their dogs could play in unleashed. I will ask the GreenburghParksand Recreation Advisory Board and Greenburgh Town Board to support the proposal –and hope that a dog parkin town can become a reality in 2006.
DOG SWIM THIS SUNDAY at
VeteranTownPark---10 AM to 2 PM.Bring your dog to the satellite pool. Last weekend over 140 dogs enjoyed the pool.
