GREENVILLE/JUNIPER HILL WATER STORAGE TANK OUT OF SERVICE FOR REHABILITATION AND PAINTING
Pressure reductions possible
Customers urged to conserve water
The Greenville/Juniper Hill Water Storage Tank is temporarily being removed from service enabling the Town to complete painting and other improvements to this elevated storage tank. This work will begin the week of March 20th with an anticipated completion at the end of May 2017, weather and conditions permitting.
Customer may notice lowered water pressures at times of peak demands (morning and evening) while this tank remains out of service. To lessen these impacts, we ask all residents within the Greenville area to conserve water and minimize early season irrigation. Conserving water during the early morning (4 am to 8 am) and evening (5 pm to 8 pm) will help alleviate potential low pressure problems and adverse impacts with the water system.
The Water District appreciates your understanding, help, and patience with minor pressure fluctuations during this time of improvement to our system. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the above mentioned project please call the Water Department at (914) 989-1900.
