Link to video: meeting at Town Hall to solarize your home or business...more meetings: 3/29...4/11..
Release Date: March 24, 2017

We had a fantastic turnout earlier this week of residents interested in solarizing their home. Residents who live in homes that qualify could save hundreds of dollars a year (possibly $1000+)  and help the environment at the same time.  The following is a video  link of the meeting held at Greenburgh Town Hall. About 400 residents of Greenburgh have already solarized their homes! Many more will be doing so in the future!

Solarize Greenburgh is a unique discount buying program that uses a tiered-pricing structure, town-supported education and outreach, and a competitively selected installer to offer quality solar electric systems to homeowners and commercial property owners at a reduced cost. The more residents sign up for Solarize, the more the cost comes down—even for the first to participate. All homeowner contracts must be signed by June 5, 2017 to participate. (Commercial property owners can sign up until June 5 and have until October to sign a contract.) In addition, once twenty solar contracts are signed in Greenburgh, Green Street Solar Power will provide a free solar electric system to the Greenburgh Nature Center. This program is available to homeowners and commercial property owners in Unincorporated Greenburgh (and also to members of the Greenburgh Nature Center who are homeowners in Westchester County or neighboring counties).
