Town Board seeks input on sidewalk standards and criteria

The Town Board, as part of the ongoing development of a sidewalk policy, will be holding a public discussion at the Town Board meeting on Wednesday, March 28, at 7:15 PM.  The discussion will focus on the standards for construction and the criteria for installation of new sidewalks that should be included in an adopted policy.  We welcome your input.


In order to concentrate specifically on pedestrian safety issues, a public discussion related to funding and liability issues will be held on a subsequent date.


The Town Council (Eddie Mae Barnes, Steve Bass, Diana Juettner, Francis Sheehan) will release proposed standards and criteria prior to the date of the discussion, and welcomes your input in advance for possible inclusion in the proposal we release.
