Yesterday the Greenburgh Town Board voted to approve the amended site plan application of Hampshire Management, which includes a 4,000 sq. ft. expansion of Trader Joe’s and the addition of a new free standing 6,000 sq. ft. retail or medical office building in the parking lot behind Best Buy. The project includes a new driveway along Dalewood Drive, which will allow for limited vehicular access to and from Central Park Avenue. The project does not include the construction of a driveway at North Washington Avenue. The project initially included an additional 12,900 sq. ft. retail building, which was removed during the review process.
