Wake and funeral tonight for victim of hit & run--I will be late to Town Board meeting, as a result
Release Date: June 24, 2015

I was asked to speak at the funeral service for Darryl Chung, the victim of the Greenburgh hit and run tragedy. As a result, I may be late to the Town Board meeting tonight. The support given to Elizabeth Cummings from the community is greatly appreciated. And-- I hope we will continue to be supportive of her during this difficult time in her life.

The Greenburgh Police department is continuing their search for the driver who was responsible for this tragedy.

Drive carefully. If you are a pedestrian walking on streets that have no sidewalks --wear bright clothing during evening hours. Or, carry a flashlight. Let's make sure this tragedy will never happen again.

Hi Paul, I just want to update you on the Darryl Chung matter. I have been collaborating with Rev. Leo John, pastor of the First Seventh Day Adventist Church of White Plains and with Ms. Elizabeth Cummings, Darryl’s mother. I have been asked to inform you and the community (through your email blast) that there will be a funeral service for Darryl at the First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 180 Juniper Hill Rd., White Plains, NY 10607 next Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Funeral arrangements are as follows:
1) Wake – 5:00
2) Funeral Service – 7:00PM
Following the funeral service the remains of Darryl will be flown to London, England for burial. Ms, Cummings and her four year old son will accompany the body to the final resting place.
Ms. Cummings is grateful to the residents of Greenburgh for the overwhelming response she received which has not only been a source of comfort but also made it possible for her mother and the rest of her family to properly grieve the loss of this young man that is do dear to the family.
Your assistance was greatly appreciated.
Pastor Richards, First Community Church of the Nazarene
