Today --I will be interviewing representatives of Gigi's Playhouse on my WVOX radio program (Friday, June 19th) from 10- 11 AM on WVOX (1460 AM or www.wvox.com) You can call in with question: 636-0110.

Gigi's Playhouse is coming to Greenburgh/Ardsley. A grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday, June 27th from 1-3 pm at 718-720 Saw Mill River Road, Ardsley.  This is a non profit down syndrome awareness and educational center and this Westchester location will be serving Westchester and Fairfield counties. I am thrilled that our community was chosen as the location for this terrific program--that helps those family members who deal with down syndrome.  There will be face painting, games, activities next weekend.

Gigi's Playhouse offers FREE educational and therapeutic programming to individuals of all ages. We will be the 24th location to open throughout the United States and Mexico!  They offer over 30 DIFFERENT educational and therapeutic programs at no charge to individuals with Down syndrome and have been doing this for 10 years nationally.  This provides families with more confidence and skills and advocates a global message of acceptance.  They make a difference--once child at a time. One diagnosis at a time. And, one community at a time. And--we're the next community!  Spread the word!
