I want to share with you the great work of the Sleepy Hollow High School Interact Club sponsored by the Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns.  The club was recently named Charity Champions by Cablevision.  The club actively participates in community fundraisers and one of those charity events is our Rubber Duck Derby hosted in Tarrytown’s Patriot’s Park. Optimum Community rewarded the club for its efforts and presented them with Charity Champions check of $500 and donated $1,000 to their charity: The Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns.
Cablevision provided a wonderful video of what these students do.  We are so proud of the young people in our community.  And look forward to them joining us again at this years Duck Derby being held Saturday April 25th starting at 11am in Patriot’s Park.  For all the details, visitwww.tarrytownrotary.org.
Please watch this video to learn more about these fantastic students!

I'd like to recognize each of the girls at an upcoming Town Board meeting (next
one is in two weeks). If you provide me with the names of the girls and a
narrative about the competition, I can prepare certificates honoring each of
them. If you provide me with their addresses I will also send them a personal
letter of congratulations. Can also post on the town website--if you'd like,
providing residents with this good news. When you write up the narrative please
provide info- who they beat--some info on the team,
