MAIL DELIVERY PROBLEMS? Let us know... next Greenburgh jobs forum to help unemployed 3/26
Release Date: March 09, 2015

In recent weeks a number of residents have written to me or called me complaining about mail delivery or lack of mail delivery. It’s a serious problem for some people. One constituent mentioned that he depends on mail service for medication. If the mail isn’t delivered he’s in trouble.   I have been forwarding the complaints I receive to members of Congress, the local postmaster and to liaisons with the United States Postal Service.
Last year there were similar problems. Received over 80 complaints from residents. Service improved after the letters were forwarded to the appropriate officials  but seems to have deteriorated again.  If you are experiencing problems with mail delivery, please advise. Be as specific as possible. Your name…phone number…address…days when mail was not delivered…if mail was delivered to the wrong house…how the lack of service impacted you (example: not getting medicine), etc.. I will immediately follow up and keep you informed.
OUT OF WORK? For over 6 years I have organized a job club—helping people find employment. I share job posts with those on my e list at least once a week—sometimes a few times a week. If you’re out of work and want to be on the list please advise. Our 9th JOB OPPORTUNITIES in Westchester job forum will be held on Thursday March 26th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Greenburgh Library.  For information contact Lenore Rosenbaum, Director of WJCS  761 0600  308
