Town roads being repaved next week...

The Town of Greenburgh will be paving  town roads starting next week.   We plan on paving  approximately 12 miles of road during this contract ; it will be suspended at some point in October and  continue in the Spring of 2015.  We're going to spend about 3 million dollars on road repaving between now and the spring season and plan to spread the work around town.
Please find below the anticipated streets to be milled/paved next week.  Please let me know if you have any concerns/questions or if you hear of any resident concerns/questions; I will be sure to address them promptly.  If you receive any resident or motorist complaints that you may refer them to: Paving@GreenburghNY.com
Paving in the Town of Greenburgh will begin September 2, 2014 and will
continue as weather permits. The following streets are scheduled to be
paved during the week beginning September 2, 2014:
Bryant Street Secor Road to Holmes Avenue
Shaw Lane from Chaucer Street to End
Hood Court from Keats Avenue to End
Kipling Street from Lytton Avenue to End
N. Longfellow Street from Secor Road to Keats Avenue
Chaucer Street from Poe Street to End
York Street from Kathwood Road to Whittington Road
Whittington Road from Canterbury Road to Barnwell Drive
Wellington Terrace from Kathwood Road to Shirley Lane
Please do not park on the street(s) above between 7:00am and 5:00pm
We ask for your patience and cooperation while paving operations are conducted. The
paving will be performed with as few interruptions to daily traffic as possible, but,
please understand, interruptions are unavoidable.
If you have been notified by mail that your street will be paved and your street is not listed above,
please check back as tentative schedules will be posted weekly.
