Town Board meeting to start at 8:15 PM tonight (not 7:30 PM)
Release Date: September 14, 2011
Very sad news. Sherri Albalate, who was appointed by the Greenburgh Town Board as Acting Receiver of Taxes this summer, passed away. Her funeral is being held at 7 PM. As a result, the Greenburgh Town Board will start the Town Board meeting tonight shortly after 8:15 PM tonight instead of at 7:30 PM. Sherri was a very dedicated public servant and had the ability to make people smile--even when they were paying taxes. She will be greatly missed. Her families loss is also a big loss for our town.
