AN OUT OF THE BOX (OR IN THE BOX) WAY TO FUND CONCERT SERIES
The Town Board approved a resolution authorizing me to enter into an agreement with USAGAIN (use it again) to provide recycling bins for clothing and shoes at town facilities. The town will receive $75 per bin per month. An option for the town: being paid $0.05 per pound of clothes fee per month which could be implemented from time to time if deemed appropriate by the Town.
The funds received will be used to offset the costs of the concert series--which attract well over 500 people on Thursday evenings for 6 weeks during the summer.
