Greenburgh Consolidated Water District urges all of our customers to conserve water
Release Date: July 06, 2010
The Town of Greenburgh Consolidated Water District urges all of our customers to conserve water during the current heat wave. As a result of the current hot, dry weather pattern, we are experiencing unusually high demand levels resulting in reduced pressure to many of our customers. Customers are asked to curtail non-essential use of water during the next several days. All lawn irrigation systems should be shut off during this time, as outdoor watering greatly adds to the water system demands.
We thank our customers for their cooperation during this heat wave.
