Social Services Available

Every Thursday 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Joe Murphy, MSW, social worker from the Westchester Clearing House, will be available to help with your social concerns, housing-medical-health-psychological-anything of interest to you. He will be at the Multipurpose Center every Thursday.



If you are going on a trip, it is your responsibility to check for the exact time the trip is scheduled to leave.

REFUNDS: Please fill out a refund form, available at the front desk. There is a service charge for cancellations.


Art Show

Greetings from Home – 350 years of American Jewish Life” at he Gallery at Yeshiva University. Lunch will be eaten at nearby restaurants. Space is limited, register early. No Fee. Deadline September 9th .


Bendheim Theatre

A Very Special Musical Play. Pay fee at the door $35.00 day of play. Deadline September 19th.

Tallix Foundry & Dia Center for the Arts-Beacon NY

September 28th, Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm

Visit Tallix, where most of the world’s sculptures are cast.  Then on to the DIA Center, which is housed in a beautiful space. Lunch will be eaten at the DIA Center. Trip includes entrance fees, tours, lunch & transportation.  Fee: $60.00 Deadline: September 1st


Hudson River Museum

“Real is Unreal” Photographer fro Law & Order explains how she captured the TV series in photographs. No Fee. Deadline Oct 3rd.


Kent, Connecticut  &  Skitch Henderson Silo

October 5th, Wednesday 9:30am – 6:00pm

Visit the Silo, which houses gourmet foods, a Cooking School, Museum, Art Gallery, & a Country Store. Lunch at the Fife & drum & in the afternoon enjoy scenic Kent. This trip will be at peak foliage seasons. Fee: $79.00 Make ck payable to the Upper Class. Deadline: September 14th.


Culinary Institute (CIA)

Lunch at Katarina de Medici. This is Peak Foliage. We will also visit Locust Grove, Samuel Morse’s Home. Fee: $49.00 Deadline September 20th

Visit this amazing place. We will eat lunch in NY. Fee includes museum entrance & Transportation. Fee:$40.00 Deadline: Oct 6th


Annual Holiday Trip

December 8th, Thursday 4:00pm –10:30pm

See NY dressed up in Holiday Attire. See the tree at Rockefeller Center, Department Store Windows, and Museum Facades. We will eat dinner at a local restaurant. Susan Teltser Schwartz will accompany us on this trip.



December 14th, Wednesday 9:15am-3:00pm

Visit Washington Irving’s house in Tarrytown decorated for the holiday season. We will eat lunch at a nearby restaurant. Fee: $10.00 Deadline November 23rd

In Case Of A Storm

Keep flashlights & a battery powered radio or TV handy, plus a supply of fresh batteries. Keep refrigerator & freezer doors closed. Food will stay frozen up to 36 hrs. in a full freezer. Have containers of water on hand. To report a power outage or faller power lines, call Con Ed at 1 800 752-6633.
