The Department of Community Resources is excited about hosting an exciting reception for residents this Wednesday. The event takes place between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM on October 26th evening at the Theodore Young Community Center which is located on Manhattan Ave. Manhattan Ave is located off of Route 119 (opposite the K Mart shopping Center).
Our goal is to further strengthen your decision to live in our great town and showcase what we have to offer you.
Be prepared to be exposed to wonderful programs and activities, a great team of Department Heads and dedicated staff, and an overall enjoyable experience on Wednesday, October 26.
Whether you come out to enjoy the indoor pool, learn about our karate program, computer program, cultural programs, meet new neighbors or interact with the Town leadership, we know you will benefit from participating!!! Other department heads will also be present to answer your questions about your town government.

Scottish Country Dance @ TDYCC (NEW!)
Try our introductory Beginner-level Scottish Country Dance demonstration. Scottish country dancing is a fun activity for people of all ages. Scottish Country Dancing is an inexpensive, fun way to keep fit and meet new people. There is no requirement to bring a regular partner, just turn up and have a go! Your first (3) lessons are free! Royal Scottish County Dance is a national and international sensation and we want to bring it to you.
What: 3 FREE Demonstration Classes

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE TOWN SPONSORS SPECIALTY WATER EXERCISE CLASSES for those with arthritis and other ailments WHO BENEFIT FROM THE WATER?
We sponsor during the fall, winter and spring months classes that consist of exercise in the water that will take the joints of the body through their range of motion starting at the neck and ending with the toes. the water temperature is kept within a comfortable range and consistently monitored.
WE ALSO HAVE SWIM PROGRAMS FOR THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED...
If you know someone who is disabled through illness or accident or has temporary disabilities there is great therapeutic value to those involved in rehabilitative activities. The indoor pool is equipped with a lift and stairs to enable those with disabilities entry to the pool.
HAVE TO GO TO WORK --TAKE A SWIM AT 5:30 AM
The Theodore Young Community Center indoor pool is open at 5:30 AM to 8:45 AM every morning (Monday-Saturday) for early bird swimmers who can't take advantage of lap swim times during mid day or during early evening hours.

Because of the overwhelming response we're getting, please note that parking is limited but you are able to park on Manhattan Ave. as well as designated parking spaces located at Union Baptist Church.
