The Greenburgh Taste Off is an annual fundraising event, which brings local restaurants and caterers together to boast their favorite dishes. Residents participate by tasting the dishes and voting on their favorite dish in specific food categories. “The Greenburgh Taste Off is not only a great fundraising event, it brings the community together and gives local businesses a chance to engage with attendees, while raising monies for a good cause,” said David Jackson, president, Woodlands Falcons Nest Booster Club.
The Greenburgh Taste Off also provides residents with the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and a penny social which this year includes tickets to: the U.S Open, Mets and Yankee games, as well as the Broadway play, “The Trip to Bountiful”. The event also pays tribute to Greenburgh Central 7 staff members for their service and commitment to the district. This year’s honorees include: Tina Goldman, Helen Harmon, Margo Parker and Claire Troy.
