3,664 out of power...15 crews assigned to Greenburgh today and 2 cut and clear crews.
Release Date: November 07, 2012

There are now 3,664 Greenburgh residents out of power. Con Ed has assigned 15 crews to Greenburgh today and 2 cut and clear crews. This is the most we have had so I anticipate significant progress to be made.  After the hurricane 9500 people were out of power.

Yesterday the Town Board approved a resolution authorizing waiving all fees for building and electrical permits from the storm.
If there is another storm today, Con Ed will keep crews in Westchester and won’t send the crews back to NYC, according to officials I spoke with yesterday.

If you are still out of power at the end of the day and want to stay with a “house angel”, there are more than 20 families who have offered to let you stay with them. Please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com or call me on my cell: 438 1343.
